Heinz Leopold supports and advises his customers in the area of consumer goods, retail and services. He focuses on C-level positions for national and international clients. Due to his own extensive experience in this field, he is able to draw on an outstanding network to identify optimal solutions.

Heinz Leopold is an economist. He began his professional career at Unilever in Hamburg. In his early days in the marketing department of Langnese-Iglo, he initiated the international development and positioning of the highly successful “Magnum” ice cream brand.

Heinz´s career then took him to various Unilever subsidiaries, including senior management positions in Latin America, where he spent ten years based in Mexico City and Sao Paulo. Subsequently, Heinz moved to Tchibo in Hamburg and headed the company’s global coffee business for 5 years, before joining Intersearch in 2013.

In the process of candidate selection, Heinz Leopold focuses on both professional and personal assessments. He is happy to draw on his personal experience and his extensive network in general management, sales and marketing. His many years of operational experience at the C-Level enable him both to identify the best candidates for his clients, as well as inspiring them to take on new challenges. The ability to successfully handle digital transformation is increasingly becoming a key issue in this context.

Heinz Leopold is married and has one grown-up son. In addition to his family, he loves photography, Latin America and the Nordic countries, the HSV football team (not always) and Berlin’s exciting and international cultural scene.

In addition to German and English, Heinz also speaks pretty good Spanish and Portuguese (currently a bit rusty).
